The Health Director directly supports the health and safety of participants and staff at the Telluride Association Summer Seminar (TASS) located at Cornell Branch of the Telluride Association, as well as assisting the Summer Program Manager in supporting the health and safety needs of TASS participants and staff at other sites. The Cornell TASS program hosts approximately 28 junior and senior high school students for an educational summer program centered around a college-level seminar in the humanities.

The Administrative Assistant provides critical administrative support to ensure that Telluride’s office and programs run smoothly and efficiently. Duties include maintaining and using the Salesforce database, maintaining digital and paper files, assisting with administration of Telluride’s programs (including a range of educational programs for high school and college students), assisting with IT and HR administration, and providing other assistance to staff and board as needed. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Director, and works closely with Telluride staff, board members, and program participants.
The MBTA Weekend Kitchen Assistant (KA) is responsible for assisting with food service and cleaning the kitchen at the Michigan Branch of Telluride Association (MBTA). The KA must maintain a high standard of cleanliness, consistent with Michigan State Health Codes, both of the kitchen and their person. Duties include but are not limited to putting food away; cleaning food preparation areas; cleaning dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, and other items used during meals; cleaning kitchen equipment and appliances; removing trash; completing assigned side work; and other tasks as assigned. The KA is responsible for ensuring food safety throughout their work. This position reports directly to the Head Chef, and works closely with kitchen staff and program participants.
Every year, Telluride Association hires faculty for the Telluride Association Summer Seminar (TASS). TASS combines the close, interdisciplinary consideration of texts and ideas in a discussion-based seminar with the opportunity for students to engage in meaningful service, community-building, and self-governance outside of class. The TASS-CBS program is focused on topics in critical Black studies, while the TASS-AOS program is focused on anti-oppressive studies. This six-week summer program is offered free of charge to all participants.
